NBA Trends

Below are a few trends that have been relatively successful in past years.

1st Trend - "Day After" Trend

PLAY AGAINST any team that is in a B2B situation and won on the road in game 1 by 4 points or less...or in OT.

2nd Trend is "Double Digit Dog"

Play on any NBA double digit Underdog, if you take the game total minus the pointspread and get it under 190.

As an added twist to the above I have also played the team SU on the ML when its available. That's where the huge profit comes from. You must play every game when doing a system like this in order to show a profit.

3th Trend - "3rd game in 4 nights"

Look for any team(s) who demonstrate a weaker effort while on the road when playing a 3rd game in 4 days.

A road team I am considering wagering against must be playing its 3rd game in 4 days and must be on the road for this 3rd game in question.

A road team I am considering wagering against is playing this 3rd game in 4 days as a 'back to back' {B-B} game, meaning they must have played the immediate day or night before the game in question.

4th Trend is "Key Player"

Play ON a team in their FIRST game only without a key player, reason being the team will rally around each other to makeup for their absence.

5th Trend - opposite of the 4th

Play AGAINST a team in their FIRST game WITH a key player who has missed at least a week.

Reason being that the team will have to adjust their offense back to including the key player and that takes time.

Also, the team has a complacency to feel that their key player is back and they expect them to carry them, when clearly the key player usually is not in game shape.

6th Trend - "Game 1 in Overtime"

The Team that won OTR in Game 1 is 0-2 SU & ATS in GAME 2.  NBA teams are 2-0 SU & ATS when playing against.

This trend should come up once or twice a week and I expect at least a 60% winning percentage for this trend.

7th Trend - "4 or more Road Trip"

This trend is based on the longer a team plays on the road, the more tired they get and the less likely they are to score or to cover. The play is AGAINST a team who is in their 4th game of a road trip or more and also a play on the Under, until they finally get home.  This trend especially applies to an Eastern team that is playing a Western team.

8th Trend - "When the Home Team is the Visitor for West Coast Teams only"

When a Home Team plays their 1st game of a homestand and travels on 0 or 1 days rest from at least one timezone away versus a team that has already been acclimatized (played 1 or more games) to the Time Zone and the game starts 6pm or later, play against the home team.

9th Trend - "Fade4Six's - Large Home Favorite after a road trip"

The essence of this trend is to play against home favorites of 7+ pts coming off at least a 2 or more game road trip.

10th Trend - "High Altitude"

Reason for this trend is that the high altitude makes teams tire.  Thus, giving teams just as Denver or Utah who are use to playing in the thin air.  Generally, these teams should have the advantage in the 2nd half when the other team is gasping for air.
