Betting on the NFL for us thrill junkies, makes it worth the risk of winning or losing your bank roll. But, there is a smart way to handle the your NFL bets.  Read the article below and I am sure that you will enjoy NFL betting while making money making NFL bets:

1.) Bet only your Top Picks

Do your handicapping work and bet on your top picks or pick only.  This makes sense, but too many sports bettors play as many games as possible.  However, if there's only one game you feel good about, then play that game only.  The chance of winning the NFL game you feel best about may be 60% or 65%, the chance of winning the other games goes downhill from there. If you have a couple, maybe three games you feel great about, play them.  Don't bet games just for the action.

2.) Don't Chase Good Money after Bad

The weekly NFL schedule is split into six distinct time periods: The early games, the late games, the Sunday night game the Monday night game, the Thursday night game, and the Friday night game.  However, bettors should not think that way.  There is one period if you are a NFL bettor - the weekly schedule.  Do not make a bet for each time period.  Make the best NFL bet for the week.. And, above all, do not make bets for the later games if your bets for the early games are coming undone.  You can't catch up on weaker bets, most likely you'll lose more.  Remember, you are putting good money on NFL games that will give you the best chance of winning.  Bad money is bet on games trying to make up for the good money lost.  Do not do it!

3.) There are no such things as Streaks when Betting

One of the easiest ways to lose money won is to up the usual betting amount because you are on a streak.  Despite what you hear or read, there is no such thing as a betting streak.  Each bet was made by you and your research of the NFL game.  You can look back and say that the six bets you won in a row was a streak, but was it or was it based on your handicapping?   Make each bet the way you'll always place your bet.  Do not raise the bet just because you are winning. Make each bet as if it's the first time.  Afterall, did you not study the teams prior to making he bet?Remember, upping the bet on the success of yesterday's results may mean disaster today. Yesterday has nothing to do with today.
