College Football Trends

By: Richard Bleuze

The college football season during this time has many time honored trends that should not be discounted by college football bettors.  This is the time of the year that conference games begins in earnest in college football.

Because of this fact, I suggest that college football bettors start to consider using the tips found in this article about college football trends.  Once October has passed, you will find that the sports books will adjust their lines tighter as the college football season goes on.

Below are six trends that have played a part in college football

1.  During the month of October, play the under in conference games if off of two or more overs

College football teams coming off of high scoring games vs. non-conference opponents will often play a lot tighter once conference play begins, and these college football teams may now be facing better defenses too.

2.  If the underdogs are home college football teams and are playing a conference game and have three or more ATS losses, then play them.

These college football teams are usually undervalued.

3.  Play against any college football team in October conference games coming off of four or more consecutive home games.

You will find that many of these college football teams have played lightweight opponents.  Thus, many of these college football teams have a false sense of security when they either play their first road game or when they are home to a quality conference team for the first time.

4.  During this time of year, play on any college football home team playing a conference game and coming off of four or more ATS losses.

5.  Another tip is to play the under where at least one team is coming off of three or more unders.

6.  A final tip is to play any underdog coming off of four or more ATS wins.

This time of the year, October and the first few weeks of November, are usually the easiest months to make money in college football
