Why Go With The New Orleans Saints

Although, the Saints loss this past Thursday to the Colts, I still think that did will be in the Super Bowl. Thus, don't worry about betting on them. Even though the Saints did not win this past week, I did since I bet the under.
The were the most productive offense in the NFL last season, which can be credited for the most part to Brees and his league leading 4,418 passing yards along with 26 TDs. If they had a stronger ground game they may very well have taken the NFC crown last season. This season his stats may not be as staggering since they should implement a more balanced approach if they can learn anything from last season. He has lost a solid target in Horn which would have more of an effect if not for this year's draft choice, Robery Meachem.
Despite having minor surgery on his knee and his lack of experience I expect to see Meachem become a target for Brees this coming year. He has a lot of weapons at his disposal including Marques Colston, and Henderson. Henderson has been somewhat out of the spotlight considering the people he is surrounded by, but with Horn out of the picture he should step up and get more attention from Brees.
The stats don't seem to really encompass what the ground game really brings to the Saints. While they were only ranked 19th in the league for total rushing yards, the combination of McAllister and Reggie Bush has proven itself to be a huge factor in the success of this offensive unit. Opposing defenses have to be weary of the explosiveness of Reggie Bush especially when coming out of the backfield, and at the same time you have a consistent performance by Deuce (4.3 yds/carry in 2006.)
The Saints' defense did not get nearly enough credit last year as they were ranked 3rd in passing yards, allowing under 180 yards/game in the air. They had their share of trouble stopping the opposing ground game letting up nearly 5 yards/carry. With no notable changes to their defensive front I don't see how this year can produce different results, but a few healthy veterans like SS Harper will be helpful.
