The Florida State Seminoles are back in the Top 25 as they have won four straight games after opening the season with a loss.  Thursday night the Seminoles visit defending ACC Champ Wake Forest. SBG Global reports that early betting has the public taking the favored Florida State on the Road.

Florida State lost their opener against Clemson but has gone 4-0 since, outscoring their opponents 98-54. They are coming off a 27-10 victory over North Carolina State last Saturday.  The FSU defense forced four turnovers and held the Wolfpack to 268 total yards.  The Seminole defense is 12^th in the country against the run.  Last season the Demon Deacons crushed the Seminoles 30-0 so revenge could be a factor on Thursday night. It is the only time Florida State has been shut out at Doak Campbell Stadium since Bobby Bowden began coaching them in 1976.  That victory last season by Wake Forest helped the Demon Deacons to their first 11-win season in school history. "Wake Forest is having to wear the bullseye this year because they won the conference championship last year," Bowden said. "So everybody is aware of Wake Forest."

Wake Forest has won three straight after opening with losses to Boston College and Nebraska.  Last week the Demon Deacons scored 34 unanswered points in their 41-36 win over Duke. Kenneth Moore caught 11 passes for 100 yards and ran four times for 84 yards and two touchdowns.

Florida State has a 21-3-1 edge in the series. FSU has not lost at Winston-Salem since 1973.
