San Diego Chargers vs. Buffalo Bills - October 19th
Clash of AFC titans and Bookmaker.com has all the betting action covered from the opening kick-off to the closing gun when the San Diego Chargers (3-3, 3-2-1 ATS) take the cross-country trip to take on the Buffalo Bills (4-1, 3-2 ATS). This is a potential playoff preview, as both teams are favorites to win their respective divisions a bit over a third of the way through the season.
Though San Diego is 3-1 SU in their L/4 meetings, Bills bettors have dominated the NFL betting lines, as they have gone 3-1 ATS in the four match-ups. These two teams most recently met in 2006, a game that the Chargers won 24-21 in Buffalo, but the Bills stuck in front of the 6-point spread.
If you throw out the dud game that they put up in Miami two weeks ago, the Chargers have had three straight incredibly solid performances. They beat the Patriots, Raiders, and Jets by an average margin of 16.3 points per game, and covered all three spreads.
Last Sunday night, San Diego bettors had an easy time cashing their ticket, as the Chargers blasted New England 30-10. The story for the Chargers was their defense which kept New England out of the end zone until the game was well out of hand. They racked up four sacks and forced two turnovers.
In the end, the Chargers made a mockery of the fact that they were only made six-point home favorites by the NFL oddsmakers.
The Bills were off last week, which should have given them plenty of time to forget about the 41-17 whooping they absorbed in Arizona in their Week 5 NFL betting match-up. For a team that is 4-1, the Bills only rank 18th on offense and 9th on defense, and don’t have staggering numbers on either side of the ball.
Oddsmakers have the Bills at home at just -1 against the Chargers in this NFL betting match-up. The ‘total’ has been set at 44.
Both teams have very strong betting trends supporting them as well. The Bills are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 home games, while San Diego is an astounding 36-16-3 ATS in their last 55 games against the AFC. It should be another great weekend of football betting, so login to your Bookmaker account right now and get in on all the action!
